The Pope name was (Eugenio Pacelli) and he was the leader of Catholic community worldwide until he passed away. He was accused of not publicly speaking forcefully during World War II against Nazi extermination policies against the Jews and was later criticized for not aiding the Jews who were persecuted by Hitler.
