Anyone can be role models for many reasons, whether it is someone who is famous, close to you, or a character from a show or movie. Everyone at some point in their life has had a role model and role models can have different influences on different people. Clark Griffin from “The 100” is a positive role model for millennials because she shows that women can be just as powerful as men, portrays that everyone makes mistakes, and displays bravery and intelligence while trying to protect her people.

Out of the 100 that were sent to the ground, Clark was one of two people who tried to become leader of their group; the other person trying to lead was making it a free-for-all. Eventually Clark got through to everyone after some mistakes were made and things were not staying up to par. Once everyone started to listen to her, it started to run a bit more smoothly on the ground for all of the survivors. Clark does not lead with an iron fist, she is not ruthless, but she does what she needs to do for her friends and family and will make sacrifices when they need to be done.
In conclusion, Clark Griffin is a great role model for millennials for many great reasons. Many people look up to her from her group sent to the ground and it is justified because of Clark’s will to keep everyone alive and safe. She proves that women can lead just as well as men and she shows her true bravery and intelligence through her leadership. Clark is not perfect and she makes mistakes, but that only makes her human; she does her best to learn from every one of her mistakes and to not make it again. She is a great influence to her people and to anyone else looking up to
