Post Apocalyptic Society: A Case Study

Should the apocalypse occur in the area of Warren Wilson College, the current state of our community would be at stake. To remain unharmed during this period of distress, the members of the Warren Wilson community would need to quickly join forces to implement all knowledge beneficial to survival. My unique role in this post apocalyptic society would be providing law related services and knowledge of to provide order and organization.
Over the years I have attended high school, I have been enrolled in a variety of courses that would be beneficial to the post apocalyptic society. Since the beginning of sophomore year, I have wanted to become a lawyer. Due to this discovery, I have taken courses that closely relate to Law such as Advanced Placement United States History, Business Law, and later Advanced Placement Government and Politics. Though I have not realized this trait previously, I have currently implementing my ability to lead and assist the community. In my latter years of high school, I have volunteered with many organizations and have had leading roles in these organizations to build the society as a whole. For example, I volunteer with North Carolina Teen Court Association and One Step Further Inc.. In Teen Court (aka Peer Court), Students volunteer as jurors in cases where children 17 years and younger have committed misdemeanor crimes in school and are given the opportunity to correct their mistakes by volunteering with the community and participating in rehabilitation services tailored to their specific crimes. If the children cooperate with the services provided for them, they can have their criminal record expunged. I can use these skills and ideas to reorganize the community and make post apocalyptic world improve better then it was
