I want to enroll in Pre-AP English because I think it could help me in several of ways. This can help attain my goals because it helps me receive a higher gpa. I plan to contribute to Maricopa High School community by joining student council, if I join student council I would be involved in more things and can help at any events, I am committed to go above and beyond and I am self-motivated to do anything necessary. Skills that I have that are essential for advanced placement include someone who will try their best every day, someone who will go above and beyond in completing their assignments and are respectful and responsible.
My childhood was not most would consider to be easy. Both my mother and father had addiction issues that forced my younger brother and I to care for ourselves. By the time I reached the fifth grade, I had attended five different elementary schools. On the days that I did actually go to school, I was not on time. A few years later, I moved in with my grandparents, and my entire life improved.
I am uniquely qualified to be admitted into the Wisconsin School of Business due to the fact that I have experience in the field of business as a member of collegiate DECA and as a marketer for College Works Painting. Participating as a member of collegiate DECA has broadened my understanding of what it means to be a business major by expanding my personal connections. Subsequently, by interacting with business majors with various emphases, I have accumulated more knowledge about what it takes to succeed in multiple areas of business. I have been introduced to local business owners, employers from career fairs, and general members of the student organization whom I may be able to use as connections during my career. Eagerness to learn, attention to details, and willingness to put in required effort and time, all qualities I wish to continue to practice as a student in AP English 12. As a student of organization and willingness to participate in classroom discussions and interactions, I believe those attributes of me as a student set me up for success in this class. My enthusiasm in learning has been a leading factor in my decision to apply for this rigorous course my senior year. While there are other options available this is the course best suited for me due to my attention to details and readiness to dedicate time and effort into this class. Membership in Ball State University's Honors College presents an opportunity for me to be surrounded by peers who share a similar commitment to academic excellence. Box 1 – The College of Liberal Arts at Temple has been a great conduit for providing opportunities for my intellectual and professional development. First and foremost, I feel extremely privileged to be part of Temple’s CLA Honors Program due the outstanding faculty, both teaching and administrative. Personal Statement For Seniors I am the type of person that has always thought outside the box. I 've never been afraid to succeed in what possibly my friends and family have never delt or ventured into. Coming from never being in charge of anything important really I soon began to take role of captain but not in anything militaristic but captain for a few different community soccer teams throughout my life. I believe in all that I have always been a guy that takes charge in things I truly care about and succeed in them.
Nine years ago, after draining labs, countless hours spent studying and next to no sleep I finally earned accomplished one of the most challenging goals I have ever set out for myself, earning my master’s degree in Biomedical Science. Since my graduation I have put my education to work. I have opened up my own practice where I specialize in guiding athletes to recovery post injury. Working with dedicated athletes has not only motivated me to make my health a priority but, through seeing these athletes drive and dedication to get their healthy bodies back, cause me to be grateful and thank God each and every day for my health. The most rewarding aspect of my job is knowing that I have the ability to improve someone else’s quality of life.
There are many different things that can impact students in their high school years. Whether these things are friends, activities, or the sports they participate in they all impact the student. Many opportunities are presented to students in high school, although not many impacts the student beyond high school, I believe this opportunity will impact me forever. I would love to be a part of the Early College Program this coming spring. I believe the program will do nothing but help me grow and strive to be a better student and continue being involved.
Big Academic Goals Have you ever needed a goal to keep you on track. In my essay I will explain my academic goals to make my school year better. If I have academic goal I could do better, and get through the 8th grade. I will be going over three academic goals to help me and maybe others through the 8th grade. Organizing the work is something that could help, by keeping up with the it is easier can to get it done.
I would like to start this personal statement by thanking you in advance for taking the time to read this essay and considering me for this scholarship opportunity. In the 3rd grade, I shadowed my mother on a Take Your Child to Work Day. On that day, I viewed the impact that my mom had on her patients in the nursing home setting through assistance with activities of daily living, providing a listening ear, and simply being there to offer comfort. This day served as a pivotal point in deciding my future aspirations and career goals.
Going forward a liberal arts education will be key for me to attain my goals. Specifically a Hollins liberal arts education. I am interested in pursuing pre-law, creative writing, art, and equine studies. At a typical technical based studies program I would be unable to study and learn what I 'm passionate about. It has been said that if you choose a job you love you will never have to work another day, and I fully intend to live my life with zeal doing what I love and am truly passionate about, and a liberal arts education will help me achieve that.
As a senior two months away from graduating, I have been asked to think about my future countless times this school year. Although the future is uncertain, I have one goal in mind: not being average. Throughout high school I have achieved multiple awards and accomplishments that have helped me stand out from the rest of the crowd and I hope to continue this. I have maintained a 4.042 grade point average in high school, and I want to continue achieving good grades in college as well. I do not want to be the person who is remembered for fizzing out after high school.
Considering my age, it would be very difficult to believe that I would really want to join college. However, two factors largely alleviate my interest in having a degree. Firstly, I enjoy school. It keeps one busy, provides an array of materials to read and widen one’s knowledge, and is a platform to meet different and unique people. Secondly, having two sons who are inquisitive about college challenges me to really get a degree, and actually be an example to them.
