POW camps have always been found during wars as warriors are captured. From the Egyptians who used the captured enemy combatants as workers, to the Terrorists who use them for information. They are known to be cruel and inescapable. They strike fear into those who have lived there. These camps were believed to be a place where even the Devil wouldn’t dare go. The POW camps were created in order to hold captured enemy personnel during war. They were known as POWs. They were not regulated by officials and were known as torture camps.
