There are many themes in George Orwell’s Animal Farm, such as power, leadership, equality, freedom, etc.. One of the themes that stick out in this novel is power. Power is being able to direct or influence someone to something, or being in control. Power is fatal when given to the wrong person. Power throughout this novel power changes the individual.There are many examples of this for the duration of Animal Farm. When Napoleon rose to power begins to lie, use the animals, and changes the rules. When too much power is given to an individual they change drastically.
