Our ancestors lived in static societies, where success meant taking things from others. They created wealth only rarely, and in the end they could never create enough to meet needs. The colonial conquests, the desire to form large empires by conquering weaker countries and peoples existed before the era of imperialism and even before the emergence of capitalism. However, during the period of imperialism, the role and significance of the colonies change not only in comparison with pre-capitalist epochs, but also in comparison with the period of pre-monopoly capitalism. The monstrous exploitation of the working masses ensures particularly high incomes from the capital invested in the colonies and dependent countries. In addition, the metropolitan countries import from these countries hundreds of thousands of workers who perform particularly hard work for poor payment. Thus, the monopolies in the United States, especially in the south, subject to inhuman exploitation of workers from Mexico and Puerto Rico, the monopoly of France - Indo-Chinese workers, etc. Even in this conditions people had to work, because colonies had no alternatives to gain capital (Lenin 2008). To transport these materials, a lot of railroads and steamships were built. Connecting industrial and commercial cities, it changed the infrastructure of colonies. Cities and towns were built near the harbors and railroad station. Schools, church and other infrastructure were built in these cities for administration and settlers who were from imperialist state. Building cities, educating locals and preaching religion were presented as an enlightening of indigenous savage people, even if they had their own civilization (Kipling 1998). Of course, after alteration of government system and infrastructure of the colony, they need to be educated to work in British system. However, high skill professions were not taught to locals, because they had to stay dependent on imperialist
