By SHDE Holdings there is no standard protocol for internal and external communication. In order to make the communication effective, communication tools and methods must be standardized. Written communication is used among the internal people and also among the companies. It is the most formal way of communication. companies use letters to keep connection with their customers , they can send formal documents and information in Postal letter for example if the customer concludes a new contract with the company . When employees communicate, they provide information to the customers, suppliers and the other partners. By providing information they have to consider the mode and the channel of communication in order to avoid misunderstandings. By communication people also gain information, Complaints can be transferred to the company and can prevent or solve the problems if they receive the information in time. Feedback is also information which is important for the employees to get and give to stay motivated and strengthen their moral. Communication is good for the company because by it ideas can be generated. By Team meetings, brain storming or customer related questionnaires new ideas can be created enhancing the productivity of the company. If the communication is good and opinions are asked, feedbacks are collected, it feels like the team members have an important role within the team and this can generate team cohesion. If the expectations are clear towards employees, then employees know about what their supervisor expects from them and how their work has an impact on the performance of the company. It influences also the global operation because everyone knows their own importance within the organization. The effective communication is able to promote employee morale, straight communication can be appreciated by the employees. Upward communication goes from down to up , so from the employees to the boss in order to let the upper know what the employees feels or thinks about something . The forms of this communication can be employee survey , letters and face to face discussions with the managers . Through upward communication employees can share their new ideas and this can lead to great innovations by the company . As I mentioned by downward communication ,if employees know about products and services of the company they can perform better and act as company ambassadors in front of people who are not employed by the company. If employees can find the way to share their problems and clearly communicate with their manager this can cause a faster resolution of conflicts and create less stress for them.
