Princess Diana She started off as a nobody, then she was the most famous person in the world. This person would be Princess Diana, but the neat thing is it wasn't just because she married Prince Charles or because their marriage failed, it was also for helping many charities, helping the homeless and informing people of what AIDS/HIV is. This showed Princess Diana was kindhearted, looked out for people, especially children and she cared for others. Princess Diana was very kind heartened. In her time people thought that HIV and AIDS was able to be transmitted through casual contact, but Princess Diana knew that was wrong. Princess Diana wanted to have a normal life for her children. She took her children skiing, boating and took them to amusement parks. Another thing that she did that was not typical for a princess is she divorced her husband Prince Charles (http://www.notablebiographies.com paragraph 5), which is unheard of. People started to notice the changes in their marriage after they had their second son Prince Henry of Wales, or more commonly known as Prince Harry. Prince Charles was gone longer and more often and the royal couple were almost 13 years apart. Also, the couple did not have the same interests and hobbies. Prince Charles like gardening and horseback riding, while Princess Diana tried horseback riding but fell of the horse and never rode a horse again. The other issue was that Prince Charles previous girlfriend Camilla Parker Bowels. He started having the affair with her and it tore their marriage apart. So then Princess Diana agreed to a divorce in February but, she never told the queen about it before she announced it in an interview, which was not traditional. At the end of the divorce she was allowed to stay at the palace because both her and Prince Charles were close to their children and she was allowed to keep the title “Princess of Wales” but her title “Her Royal Highness” was taken away.
