China, Vietnam, Iran, and United States of America are a few countries that support the death penalty. For every person being charged of first degree murder are sentenced to the death penalty. There are around 3,200 prisoners under death sentence, whether they are guilty or not. Not only could an innocent life be lost while a doctor does his or her job, but it's unethical. For this reason, a lot of doctors refuse to assist or be part of the procedure, and so do the people that are fighting for the end of the death penalty. Unfortunately, ninety percent of inmates under death sentence were not able to afford a personal legal counsel, so the prisoner is stuck with an appointed attorney. There are inmates that are found innocent after being executed by DNA exclusion or other concrete evidence. The government, judges, doctors, and all the people that assist and support death penalties have innocent blood spill on their hands without giving the prisoner a fair chance to prove their innocence. Life is valuable in everyone’s eyes especially for doctors. Ironically, the doctors prepare and go through the procedure of taking an inmate’s life.
