Many students have trouble with the dress code in school. Not being able to dress how someone wants to and always having to be told what they can and not wear is so unfair. Even with the clothes someone is comfortable wearing, they could be told not to wear it or to change depending on the circumstances. But there are some people that choose to disregard this issue of not having the right to wear what someone wants to wear. Dress code has become one of the major issues around schools for either wearing something revealing or just the cause of being judged.

The latest research corroborates the view that “ A high school girl was given an in-school suspension for wearing torn clothing, and that when confronted the staff told her mother that “ she needed to consider the guys in her class and their hormones when choosing her wardrobe” ( Natalie Regoli par. 32). This tells that many of the staff around campus can be very strict about dress coding even if it's the bare minimum of showing skin. It is inappropriate to have to tell a young girl to cover up due to boys hormones. It is not fair some administrators go as far as punishing a student for it or even being picky as to who to punish and who not to. It is important because students who feel like they are being discriminated against because of how they look and can't wear the thing they want to wear just because they are a size too big due to the dress code principles make the student follow.
