Reparations through Education In the follow essay, I will be arguing that the focus on ending social injustice in regards to racism ought to be on reparations. If I had a trillion dollars to help the problem of racial injustice in America, I would mainly focus on creating educational opportunities for those facing oppression. First, I would increase programs similar to affirmative action by increasing the quality of education for those facing oppression. By expanding the education levels of the country as a whole, there would be inevitable personal growth, and knowledge of issues that affect the American system. I would also change the curriculum of the public schools to reflect the true history of the United States in regards to its oppressive acts and effects, and create awareness of how human behavior may be influenced by racist tendencies.. With the resources given to me, I would expand the system of education in this country to ensure that affirmative action is effectively working to create opportunities for minorities.
