The colonists refused to submit to a king that was only interested in their money, causing the colonists to become irate with the British once more. Since Great Britain thought that it was superior to the colonies, Great Britain did not give colonists the opportunity to speak up for what they wanted, which lead the colonists to rebel. The arrogance of Great Britain led to the rebellion of the colonists, which sparked the Revolutionary War through social, economic, and political actions. Furthermore, Great Britain caused a tremendous amount of irritation to develop inside of the colonists. The Revolutionary War showed that it is a necessity for Americans to have their opinions voiced.
Before the American Revolution, the British had appeared unstoppable. The thought that the colonies, who had existed completely at Britain’s will, could defeat them was astonishing. America gained their independence, despite the doubts. Without the tyranny of the British monarchy, the colonists had to establish a new government around the recently written Constitution. George Washington, one of the generals critical to the success of the revolution, was unanimously elected as the new leader.

It is very controversial on who started the incident, but their was a lot of colonial propaganda that came out on this incident. The colonists were the aggressors in the Boston Massacre because they taunted and “assaulted” the British soldiers, they made the soldiers think that their captain was telling them to fire, and their was a lot of propaganda and bias that came out to show the opposite of what happened at the massacre. The Colonists taunted the British and threw things at them to make them shoot. Most of the crowd was drunk and acted in an unacceptable manner.
The people of America (colonists) were tired of being controlled by England. They wanted to be free and independent. They believed that they were able to control themselves and be their own country. They wanted England to let go of their control and to view them as independent and their own country.
