As of now I have used models solely for case studies where profile information is provided, but I feel less competent in using it for gathering a variety of research. Each course and student organization within UND’s occupational therapy department requires a set of norms that align with the values and beliefs of the occupational therapy association. These values and norms are exhibited within the classroom, in fieldwork placements, as well as outside of the classroom when representing the profession. I find I exhibit professional behaviors in the classroom by obtaining respect for my fellow classmates and professors. Every day, I strive to make my peers feel heard, whether that be giving time during small or large group discussions for classmates to voice their thoughts or validating their ideas with a voice of encouragement. In addition, I find respecting our professors to be very important as well. Professional behaviors I feel follow this value is obtaining genuine listening when the professors are speaking and engaging in the class activities when instructed. For both of
