Professional Development Session Outline of the Professional Development Session 1. Start the Discipline Management session by having teachers share the student outcomes they wish to improve. Instructional coach will write what teachers share in a bubble map. (This will make learning relevant and meaningful to the audience.) 2. Ask teachers to be interactive and share ideas and practices that can help to transform existing practices which are not currently working. 3. Introduce interesting Kagan structures by modeling two with their uses and material that goes with them. 4. Model of Professional Development Source: Kazu and Demiralp (2016) assert that programs for teacher training believed to prepare teachers with life-long learning capability, in addition of equipping them to practice this mastery will, after graduation, use it in all aspects of their lives. Teachers that seek qualified pre-service training have the opportunity to shape the education system as their teaching performances will reaffirm themselves. Teachers made it clear through interviews that this is an important topic in order to be better effective for their students’ learning and academic achievement. This professional development session will develop learning that will be long-lasting for the reasons that teachers will have many opportunities to use the different strategies to make them their own and be able to work together to maintain a climate of learning to improve classroom
