I believe progress is when you are advancing towards something. I believe progress means that we are able to use nature in a way that can benefit us. The Kinsely reading contributes to this idea, it says progress is moving from a condition in which nature dominates humans to which we as humans start to dominate nature and use nature to our uses. It goes on to explain that human and nature are competing against each other for control, but I believe that as human we now control nature to how we like.
