Project Part One: Collection of Sources My research aims to explore the impact of innovative technologies on digital redlining and discrimination while identifying strategies for more equity. I chose innovative technologies because of the adaptability they allow. How can innovative technology in healthcare systems reduce environmental impact while improving patient care quality? Based on my research, a potential answer to this question is that healthcare provides more energy-efficient and renewable resources. Technology such as Telemedicine, reduces the need for travel, which cuts down on emissions. Throughout my essay, I will use resources found independently in the Shapiro Library, along with one resource provided for me. These resources …show more content…
These communities are paying the same prices as the wealthier communities, although having slower internet speeds. This helps to support my topic by showing how innovative technology such as telehealth can have a negative effect on some people. Project Part Two: Persuasive Essay with Research Over the years, telehealth has changed the healthcare system by making medical services more accessible and cost-efficient. Although there are many positive aspects, telehealth raises concerns about care quality and data security. “Therefore, it is important to emphasize that in the case of mobile healthcare, when it comes to sensitive medical data, data security does not only refer to data storage on servers but also on users' mobile devices.
