There is plenty of proof to back up the idea of time travel, which is in fact possible. Time travel is obviously present and possible in the novel 11/22/63, but this writing piece is fiction, therefore it is not real. Although the book is fiction, there are many quotes to support the idea of time travel. One quote in particular is when Al tells Jake he will be taken back in time, “Jake, if you walk down the stairs of the pantry you will be taken back to 1958.
