Ambitions , prophecies or maybe evil is what you could say drives Macbeth during the play, but Macbeth fate was already determined from the start .Macbeth stumbles upon three witches who give him 3 prophecies that predicts several of his actions before they even happen. In the play The Tragedy of Macbeth, Macbeth’s fate is predetermined by the witches. The witches manipulate Macbeth into acting dishonorable. When and Banquo enters where the witches where they tell him 3 prophies . One says,” All hail, Macbeth, hail to thee, Thane of Glamis.”. (1.3.149). This witch tells Macbeth and Banquo that Macbeth will become thane of Glamis , and shortly after he hears his prophecy he becomes Thane Of Glamis. He also becomes puzzled and confused because this prophecy came true. The second witch says to him ,” all hail, Macbeth , hail to thee, Thane of Cawdor.” (1.3. 150 , and the third witch also gives him another prophecy,” all hail, Macbeth, thou shalt be king hereafter”. As the play goes on, Macbeth starts to question whether or not the prophecies that are starting to come true are a good thing or bad thing. ,” The supernatural soliciting Cannot be ill, cannot be good : if ill,”. Macbeth! Macbeth! beware; Macduff . Then the witches tell him he won't be hurt by anyone born of women, and later in the play he finds out he was tricked and macbeth kills him. In the Play faith determines a man's action. Macbeth life was determined from the very start of the play. The Witches told him all the events that would happen to him and they all started to unfold before his eyes. This leads back to the question , can we can control our own faith ? Macbeth couldn't and died like the witches predicted
