The place of "choice" when it comes to a human’s life is complex one to say the least. Frequently, many people do not try to recognize real arguments for or against this cause and regularly simplify it down to impulsive answers. Conflicts on the topics of abortion are usually described as being pro or anti life. Main causes of an opinion on abortion are usually an unstable mix of governmental alliances, economic differences, ethnic disagreements, and religious differences. “In recent years, there has been a growing body of research that claims that there is a link between abortion and mental health problems among women” (permalink). A woman can become depressed especially if she already had a kid and realize that she could have brought another life into the world. They can have sleeping disorders and be diagnosed with a number of things. The procedures aren’t safe all the time and it can be a public health issue. “This study investigated perceived stress and emotional social support over time among women who were denied wanted abortions and who received abortions, and compared outcomes between the groups” (from permalink above). During the abortion procedure, before and after, the woman and possibly people around her are stressed. “This suggests that abortion is not inherently ‘an adverse life event’ as distress can be caused by other factors, such as anti-abortion beliefs or lack of support for the woman’s decision making” (permalink). During this time, the woman may avoid people, situations, or events which she associates with her abortion. She may even become loudly defensive of abortion in order to convince others, and herself, that she made the right choice and is satisfied with her choice. The woman has trouble interacting with others because she might be depressed for a while
