We have not had a boat on our shores in 6 months. It has now become quite difficult to come to Australia as a refugee. We will offer protection to refugees as long as they have or apply for a visa, and apply for overseas protection. Personally, I think that we could have handled it without getting the military involved. Our nation could be a little more sympathetic to the people trying to enter it with such big reasons. But, I also think what they are doing is reasonable. Illegal immigrants could be trying to pass themselves of as refugees and getting into the country.
