Being a baseball player, in general, takes time to get comfortable with the game. Once you are comfortable you will see your true ability to play the sport. I have had some seasons with different teams that have made me devote more time to than others, but currently, I have practices four times a week for about two hours each time. While you have to devote time to becoming better, you also meet many new people who share the same interest. When learning baseball and improving on your game, you also learn different life lessons that come out of the rules of baseball. The game challenges me to control my emotions on and off the field because baseball is a game of failure. Even the pros fail, for they are even getting paid to play the game.
