From the various liberties Americans enjoy to the racial and ethnic mix of Americas people. The concept of the American Dream can be found throughout our culture and our history. According to ArticleⅡ, SectionⅠ, Clause Ⅴ, of the Constitution, a person must be a natural-born citizen to be eligible become president. However, many people from other countries have had the qualities and experience necessary to become president, yet they have been hindered from doing so by this foolish provision. Clearly, this is not right. I believe you do not need to be born on US soil, to become president for the following reasons: (1) many people misconceive the meaning of the word natural-born citizen,(2) many people from foreign countries have helped America in many ways,(3) most other countries do not have similar qualifications Firstly, many people misconceive the meaning of the word, natural-born citizen. According to an article by the Harvard Law Review, the word natural-born citizen actually means that a natural-born citizen is someone who has been given birth to by a parent who is a citizen of the United States regardless of where he or she is born, without going through the naturalization process.

Three thing is if you are at a game standing up and put your hand on our heart for The Star Stander Bender .

America is a “land of living hope, woven of dreams, aflame with longing and desire” people who come to America come here to get a better life or career. Most people who come to America for a few years think they are Americans because they wave a flag, but they don't know the true meaning of what it means to be and American. An American is someone who will die for it’s country, someone who emigrated here for more opportunities, and someone who is encouraged by the history of America. We all go through life in varying manners, some choose to challenge the everyday laws, others cling to the authority hoping not to get noticed, we have different jobs, go to different schools, live in different neighborhoods, some of us have hundreds of family members, and some have none, theres no telling the situation. So the question in general is hard to answer because every American has a different view of living in america. In some of the pieces of literature like “I, Too, Sing America,” “America and I,” “The Bill of Rights,” and “Veterans Day: Never Forget Their Duty” the authors have different ideas of what it means to be American. Art censorship is making it difficult for students to express themselves, not only in school but outside as well. Whether they are showing their work in an exhibit or have created a film for a film fest, entries have been pulled due to “explicit content” or for being offensive. An example would be book banning, a very popular ban is Perks of Being a Wallflower which covers a broad range of topics that many parents do not want their children to be exposed to. Art is specifically used to express one’s feelings: anger, sadness, and depression are feelings commonly expressed in art. Writers are able to talk about relatable issues and can show how a character found their peace.
When you ask a non American “What does America mean to you?” , they will more often than not answer with hamburgers, obesity, NFL and Reality TV. That is okay because who doesn 't love hamburgers and football filled Sundays, who doesn 't love watching silly reality TV shows and who doesn 't love a cheat day every once in awhile? Those people are judging a book by its cover and fortunately for me… well my thoughts about America are quite different. When an individual asks me “What does America mean to you?”
When a person hears or sees the word America, what do they think? My Childhood was pretty different than how I live today. I’m a part of a middle class family with two little sisters. Since I am still in high school, I haven’t experienced that much to say that my social class has changed a lot; However, I have watched my father grow in the company he works for. He has worked his way through many barriers created by “elite” people that doubted his intelligence. He had opened a door to many different opportunities such as working for Google and Apple.
