A lens of a camera, can determine the safety of your life. In the 21st century technological advances have changed our society a lot. Many of these technological advancements made it easier for police officers to catch criminals. Some examples of these technologies are facial recognition software, automated license plate readers, GPS, and social media. However all these technologies are not any good to protect the police of any unreasonable accusation of misuse of their authority. And this is where the police body camera comes in handy and shoots a footage of any incident that comes against the civilian and the police officer. The big question is “ Should police officers wear body cameras if they are given one?”

Group A was given a body camera that was worn on a shirt pocket that captured the POV (point of view) of the officer. Group B was the control group where they got no cameras. This experiment was to see if the officers used force in any of their shifts. The result of this experiment was so better than I thought.
