Like any kind of combat sport injuries are inevitable and can be minor or lead to severe injuries. The more common injuries can be treated at the ringside. Amateur boxers can limit the risk of serious injuries as they wear protective headgear. This helps reduce the risk of head injury which can lead to brain damage. Boxing is seen as the worlds oldest combat sport, it is a sport thar you can never take anything for granted. One margin of error can change the outcome of a fight and even the fighters career, and maybe their life. Having the skills and talent alone may not be enough. Having the heart and the will to win is much more than how hard you can punch or be punched.
