Many people like driverless cars. There are reasons to like it but there are also reasons to worry about. Driverless cars are not a safe thing. There are many reasons why they’re not safe, people should worry about why they’re not safe.

To start off, the safety of the person riding a car that runs on technology is not safe. For instance, the article, “pro/con: Is the idea of driverless cars gaining popularity”,stated if something on the road changes, the car won’t know where to go and would be lost. The car won’t know where objects on the road are. For example, objects like bits of paper garbage are harmless, but they can change the course for no reason. Not all places accept driverless cars. You have to know when and where they can be used. Driverless cars can raise issues of legal responsibility. In the article,”pro/con: Is the idea of driverless cars gaining popularity” Stated that who should be held responsible for a car crash, the passenger, the car maker, or the designer of the computer system? These legal issues could take years to figure out it out. It even may take many lawyers to sort it all out. (Tribune News Service)

Additionally, the cost for the car is not cheap at all. When making a car completely self driving may add $10,000 after the price. Not all people will like the design or model of the car, they may not suit most people. People are having a hard time accepting them. (Tribune News Service)

In conclusion, driverless cars may be a good thing to some people but not all people. Driverless cars are the worse for people’s safety. They are just not advanced enough, the technology is just not the greatest. Driverless cars are not safe.
