In the article, “Costs of Eliminating Malaria and the Impact of the Global Fund in 34 Countries” written by Brittany Zelmanl, she said that at 113 countries from all around world have already eliminate malaria disease and at least 31 other countries are stepping in the same path (Britany 2). As a result, the Global Fund have disbursement money to the countries that need to the funds “from bi- and multi-lateral donors increased during this time period from US$100 million in 2000 to US$1.84 billion in 2011” (Britany 2). Hedge Fund is a limited partnership of investors that uses high risk methods, such as investing with borrowed money, in hopes of realizing large capital gains. Hedge Funds are really different from what global funds are. For instance, global funds are more of the securities from all around the world, including the countries where the investor resides. And while for hedge funds are more of the international funds that are hold all the securities from all around the world except the investor residences. (What Is the) There are advantage and disadvantage of hedge funds, or in other word, International Manual Funds. The advantages of the international manual funds are the Diversification, Capitation appreciation and income, Professional arrangement, and liquidity and convenience. While these are the advantages of international manual funds, there are also the disadvantages in it also. For instance, Economic risk, Political risk, Currency/Exchange Rate Fluctuation, less information, and reduced liquidity.
