This influx of immigrants were able to work quickly after arriving because all of these big industries needed a lot of labor workers. This led to success for many businesses in America. In opposition to this, this influx of immigration did bring negatives with them. All of these immigrants going to the same urban areas led to cities being very over crowded.

A very controversial topic in the past few years has been immigration. Immigration is better for Canada because it helps introduce different cultures, increase Canada 's growth, and raise economic worth. Canada is well known for its diverse cultures. Immigration helps introduce many new cultures to Canada, aiding it to keep the diverse, vibrant and accepting identity that Canada currently has today (Vaughan). The reason immigration helps give Canada the identity it has today is because if Canada didn 't accept immigrants it would be less diverse and more un-inclusive.

We give people hope for a new beginning and the ability to become what they've dreamed of. Although there are many arguments against immigration that claim immigrants will only ruin the United States, it turns out immigration is actually good for the economy, most immigrants are law-abiding, and it is simply a natural human right to allow immigrants to live in the United States.

Initially, immigration makes the U.S. economy (GDP) larger. However, by itself a larger economy is not a benefit to native-born Americans. Though the immigrants themselves benefit, there is no body of research indicating that immigration significantly increases the per-capita GDP. Additionally, there is the fiscal impact, taxes paid by immigrants minus the costs they create for government. There is overall agreement that less-educated, lower-income immigrants are a net fiscal drain; and more-educated, higher-income immigrants are a net fiscal
First of all, Immigrants have had several negative impacts on American society. For one thing, the immigrants took jobs from people who born here. I would say that most of the people are legal but there are also some illegal ones for sure. One of the main cons of immigration can be the threat they have with terrorism. I say this because it has happened many times.
