The judicial review is the ability of the Supreme Court to limit congressional power. The judicial review also empowers the Supreme Court, ever since 1803 when it was established. Court may also grant a writ of certiorari, as long as it appeals to the 4 justices. Stare decisis and judicial activism are able to influences decisions made by the individual justices. This is a lot of what the judicial review impacts.
