No Proof Adnan Syed is guilty of killing Hae Min Lee. But, the podcast Serial by Sarah Koenig will give you a different look into the situation, that might just change your mind on it, like it did to mine. Adnan Syed he's the ex-boyfriend, and doesn’t have reasonable alibi that was looked into, so he must’ve done it, right? He even had a witness, Jay Wilds testify against him, pointing all facts that he did it. But would you believe anything from someone who’s story changes constantly about what happened? Almost like, Jay himself strangled Hae Min Lee. I think Adnan Syed is innocent because of the following reasons; many people said he was never mad or upset about the breakup, doesn’t have any specific memory of the day Hae went missing and killed because it was a ordinary day for him nothing significant happened for him to remember it. Although he may have smoked weed that day it wouldn’t have affected his memory. Why is Adnan’s friend or should i say “ex-friend” like how jay said in the first episode of the podcast Serial. But later on both of them said they weren't really friends, just acquaintances who occasionally smoked and drove around together or gave each other rides home, because they lived close by each.
