Should the USA lower the drinking age down to 18 is a good idea or not? They both have their cons or pros in this story but there are more pros than cons. There have been scientific studies on this topic and they also say that it should be lower so we have less addents. The drinking age should be lowered to 18 because it would cut down on binge drinking by college students We should lower the drinking age to 18 so we can educate this kids or teens about alcohol. In the article The Fallacies of the 21-Year-Old Drinking Age it states ¨Since the French youth are usually exposed to alcohol at earlier ages than their American counterparts, they better understand risks associated with the poisonous drink and learn to manage their alcohol without parental supervision¨(wollins par 10).
