The minimum driving age for teens should be raised
A reason for why the minimum driving age should be raised is that most teens aren’t receiving the right education when it comes to driving. In an article about teenage driving laws it stated that, teens that go through a driver’s program aren’t getting enough driving experience while having adult supervision (47). While having adult supervision when you drive does reduce the risks of accidents, but it also takes away from experience when you’re driving alone. Having a “co-driver” with you while you’re driving has its pros and cons. The pros of having a co- driver is the reduce of accidents as well as a learning increase.
