Starting from the 1920’s the idea of hospitals offering services on a prepaid basis lead into a system that will soon benefit millions. Healthcare defined as the maintenance and improvement of physical and mental health through provision of medical services, is one of the most important systems available to citizens of the United States. There is a multitude of benefits that go along with having healthcare that the citizens of the United States are very lucky to have. Former President Barack Obama has passed an act that will live on forever and benefit everyone involved. Learning from Bill Clinton’s failed mistakes in attempting to pass a healthcare act, Obama was able to successfully pass The Affordable Care Act, also known as “Obama Care”. Overall compared to Clinton, Barack Obama was a great leader in terms of passing important and successful laws. Determined, motivated, and thoughtful come to mind when thinking of a good leader. One who puts themselves lasts and tries to do everything in their power to fix what is broken. Being able to assess the problem and figure out a solution effectively will make a person succeed.
