Question 15: Only the potato in tap water that had no added salt drooped the most water and shrunk the most while the other potatoes did shrink they did not shrink as must therefore my hypothesis was incorrect. Question 16: I could have increased the time so that more action could happen within the potatoes and the water. I could also increase the amount of salt and decrease the amount of water or decrease the salt and increase the water. Question 17: If there is too much salt or sucrose and not enough water the plants and ground bearing food will become deprived of water and die from the high levels of salt or sucrose. That is why there is an equal amount of salt water or sucrose and water.
