For Planned Parenthood, there is many controversies portrayed in today’s media. Many see Planned Parenthood as an abortion only clinic or as a clinic that promotes sex amongst teenagers. However, that can only be far from the truth. The beige question is if the government should continue to fund or de-fund Planned Parenthood. With a very controversial issue, there’s always the con or pro to the issue. Some of the common issues in those who agree with defunding Planned Parenthood, maybe they see it as the clinic is targeting the minority neighborhoods. For men, they offer various services such as pesticide and colonoscopy. Planned Parenthood typically sees patients who are low income or can’t afford private health insurance through a private doctor. Much like college students who need health resources at little to no cost and for teenagers who are embarrassed to have the “talk”. Many Americans rely on Planned Parenthood for their primary health care needs. Weather your going to get an abortion, prevent pregnancy or just your annual check in.
