When the Cold War broke out, the US took a second look at China since they thought that there were strategic advantages on Communist China by improving relations after its split with the Soviet Union. [Communism Spreads in East Asia] The West, especially the United States identifies the revolution as a nightmare due to its values and way of life. [Gao] It is not surprising because the hegemonic power of the West was led by the United States. [Gao] Relations between the United States and China were more complicated. [Gao] Western political propaganda made that whatever China does is wrong and the US does is correct because the logic assume that liberal country like the US cannot do anything wrong but the People Republic of China (PRC) was ruled by Chinese Communist Party (CCP) which cannot do anything right.
