Personally i hold the perspective that Americans ought to celebrate Columbus Day in memory of the inevitable and crucia effects the Voyager Columbus had brought forth in the perspective of world history and geography. Admittedly, i cannot deny the negative side of travel from the Columbus founding the new land.But in my aopinion the advantages far weights the disadvantages.All of us may as well see teverything thoroughly and objectively .Just as the old saying goes "every coin has two sides." My reasons to account for the idea are as follow . Generally speaking ,the reasons can be divided into two classes :the influence of the present at that time and the future in the eyes of the generations. There was some benefits Columbus had taken . To begin with,Columbus carried the thoughts of Christian civilization across the Atlantic Ocean to another side ,--the New World which made a pavement for the arrival and settlement of the Puritans who were the main power to build a unknown world later famous and powerful .Owing to the foundation,the New World became a pure and clean land where religious things were be developed and formed their belief towards life no matter what happened to them .Moreover ,it helped Americans cultivate the values of their own.Of course,it 's no doubt that religious thoughts did good for their settlement and peace with the constraint of flexible ideas.Americans were the gentle sheep.
