The death penalty is a punishment of execution given to someone who has been legally convicted of a capital crime. Death penalty to me is executing ones actions against another, some may think the death penalty is revenge. When using the death penalty it’s cost more to put people on death row than to keep them in prison (Death Penalty:Essay Research).
There are 5 different methods execution. There are lethal injections, electrocution, lethal gas, firing squad, and hanging. Lethal injection is the practice of injecting a combination of poisons into a person with a fatal dose of drugs (typically a barbiturate, paralytic, and potassium solution) for the express purpose of causing immediate death (Lethal Injection). Electrocution is death caused by electric shock, electric current passing through the body. The word is derived from "electro" and "execution", but it is also used for accidental death.
