I’ve come to a conclusion that electric cars are both good and bad for our world, I feel that technology will boom with the invention of electric cars, but if they end up not succeeding, our world will carry on and not be affected. The main concern with electric cars is the battery life and cost. Alex Planes believes that an electric car’s battery takes too long to recharge and costs too much. A Tesla electric car takes around four and a half hours to recharge fully and the cost is just too expensive. But frankly, if you were to look at the amount of money spent on charging an electric vehicle and the amount spent on a total year’s worth of money spent on gas, the electric vehicle would be much cheaper.
ABSTRUCT The purpose of this study is to examine the knowledge, views, and opinions that Brigham Young University-Hawaii students have about an electric vehicle. People around the world is getting familiar with hearing or seeing an electric vehicle as an ecologically friendly vehicle, but it is still a considerable topic that using an electric vehicle because it can be both advantages and disadvantages. A survey was conducted on BYU Hawaii to examine BYU Hawaii students' knowledge, views and opinions of an electric vehicle to see if they support an electric vehicle with correct knowledge. The results show that there is some confusion in the students' knowledge about an electric vehicle, and nevertheless, the majority of students support to use electric vehicles around the world.
