Providence College has been part of my family’s history for generations. Growing up as a Roman Catholic in Rhode Island, I have seen how the college’s Catholic and Dominican values create a strong community centered on faith, learning, and academic excellence. As a future Health Sciences major, I am excited to join a school that emphasizes truth, virtue, and serving God and neighbor while preparing me for a career in healthcare. My faith is a big part of who I am, and I see Providence College as a place where I can grow spiritually while challenging myself academically. Volunteering with the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation showed me the importance of community support, especially in times of need. I want to continue serving others at Providence College through outreach programs and health education initiatives. Whether it is service-learning projects, local health events, or volunteering with student-led groups, I want to be part of the college’s commitment to faith and community. I love learning and asking questions, which is why I am excited about Providence College’s liberal arts focus. Studying theology, philosophy, and humanities alongside health sciences will help me think critically and engage in meaningful discussions. This broad-based approach will prepare me to be a well-rounded healthcare professional who understands different perspectives and values compassionate care. Beyond academics, I cannot wait to be part of the Friar community and Friartown. I am eager to join clubs, participate in community programs related to health and wellness, get involved in student government, and experience the traditions that make Providence College special. I am interested in joining the Friars Pre-Health Volunteer Club, Public Health Club, and an interstate hockey team. I look forward to attending sporting events, helping plan events, and working with peers to make campus life even
