But that is only one portrayal of the vampire, and it will vary depending on the country and culture. What many may not know about vampires, typically, is there are different kinds. In order to take the necessary precautions when approaching a vampire, being prepared with knowledge on its kind beforehand is an absolute must. Psychic vampires are nothing like blood vampires, for they do not need sustenance from human flesh. Instead, psychic vampires feed off of emotional energy and people’s auras. Although it is a step up from being eaten, this kind of feeding is the same amount of horrifying anyone can experience. These energy vampires are not as easily identifiable because they have no physical characteristics that could give them away. To the average person, they appear to be just like everyone else.
