Tn 4351 was originally isolated from bacteroides fragilis [30] . The transposon was successfully introduced into Cytophaga succinicans, Flavobacterium meningosepticum, Flexibacter canadiansis, Flexibacter strain SFI and Sporocytophaga myxococcoides by conjugation [25]. Tn 4351carries two antibiotic resistance gene. One of the codes for resistance to erythromycin and clindamycin which is expressed in bactroides but not in E.Coli. The other gene codes for resistance in tetracycline and is expressed in aerobically grpwn E. coli, but not in anaerobically grpwn E. coli or in bacteroides.
Discussion 1. Zn0 (s)+ Cu2+S6+O42-(aq) →Cu0(s) + Zn2+S6+O42-(aq) Zn0(s) → Zn2+(aq) + 2e- Cu2+(aq) + 2e- → Cu0(s) Zn0(s) + Cu2+(aq) → Zn2+(aq) + Cu0(s) Oxidant (oxidizing agent) is the element which reduces in experiment.

Our group had to study Poliomyelitis and we each researched different parts to get data such as when the vaccine was created, how many people were infected the year before the vaccination, the number of infections this year, and so on. Our group project displayed obvious decay, whereas my individual situation was a slight decay. The graph of my individual assignment appeared linear because the rate was so slight. My indiviidual project was based on the decay of HIV/AIDS, but the number of new cases of HIV/AIDS only decreases very slightly each year in the U.S., .03% to be exact. I based my equation on the number of new cases in 2010 and 2012, which gave me the equation of y=47,500(.997)X. 47,500 was the starting number or the number of cases in 2010, I got the number .997 by subtracting the rate (.003) from the number 1, and the x represents a
Repeat this step three times for accurate results. Next, place a 100 gram plate on the car. Then release it from the top of the track once again recording the acceleration. Repeat this step with an additional 100 grams plate added, and then again another 100 gram plate added to the car. Repeat each weight collection three times to get accurate results.

Unknown Lab Report Unknown # 25 By: Jenna Riordan March 19, 2018 Bio 2843 1. Introduction Microbiology is the study of microorganisms found in all different environments throughout Earth, from the hot thermal vents at the bottom of the ocean to the ice at the top of a mountain.
The objective of this experiment was to determine the identity of three unknowns existing in a 1:1:1 mixture. An extraction technique was therefore used to identify the unknown acid, base, and neutral as the compounds must first be separated. Extraction is a method of separation that is based on the difference in solubility of each compound in a mixture. There are a couple of necessary requirements for an extraction to be completed with experimental success. In this extraction there were two liquid solvents used, an original solvent (So), and an extraction solvent (Sx).
The experiment overall was nicely conducted, and results were found through the information gathered. The dependent variable was established very quickly; furthermore, we can find the dependent variable was whether the athletes played a contact sport or a sport like baseball, where most concussions come from being hit by the ball. The independent variable is the number of concussions the test subjects obtained. Ultimately they could not control how many concussions each individual obtained but they controlled which individuals were chosen and what test were ran. The results that ran throughout the whole experiment was an overall success, the results show that multiple compared to single occurring concussions do not have an effect on P3 suppression.
On the other hand for the 0 cm to 80 cm trial, the slope is 15.47 cm/s and the y-intercept is 2.27cm. The slope tells us the rate in which the buggy traveled per a second. In other words, how the position of the buggy changed from one seconds to the other. The y-intercept however tells us the initial position of the buggy. Overall, the equation for the 80 cm to 0 cm trial is X= -18.3(t) + 81.2 and the equation for the 0 cm to 80 cm trial is X= (15.47) (t) + 2.3.
Function Guarantee Not Included Producing respect and admiration from children towards their parent’s demands, lectures, beliefs and traditions, would have more efficient impact in the child for a lifetime than implanting fear to oppose their parent’s expectations, negative consequences for disappointment from a parent directed to their child’s actions results in rancorous and strained relationships between children and parents. Jamaica Kincaid’s “Girl”, Junot Diaz’s “Fiesta 1980”, and Edith Wharton’s Ethan Frome, are literary pieces that remark the use of fear instead of adequate education as young characters in them develop views in life during their young stages. Parents deeply inculcate their personal goals and expectations in their children
Introduction: The objective for the lab was to determine properties of materials by using a tension test. The properties that were determined was Young’s Modulus, ultimate tensile strength, and yield strength. Three aluminum alloys were tested. The first was the AA 2024 , which is high strength used in aerospace applications.
INTRODUCTION A gas chromatograph (GC) can be utilized to analyze the contents of a sample quantitatively or in certain circumstances also qualitatively. In the case of preparative chromatography, a pure compound can be extracted from a mixture. The principle of gas chromatography can be explained as following: A micro syringe is used to inject a known volume of vaporous or liquid analyte into the head or entrance of a column whereby a stream of an inert gas acts a carrier (mobile phase). The column acts as a separator of individual or chemically similar components.
With this small change (by 51.4 seconds), it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the different temperatures of sodium solution and the time it takes for the ice cube to melt in the sodium solution. The raw data graph also has a c or the y intercept of 64.24 seconds and the R2 value is 0.97281. R2 value is a fraction between 0.0 and 1.0, and has no units. An R2 value of 0.0 means that knowing X does not help you predicts Y. There is no linear relationship between X and Y, and the best-fit line is a horizontal line going through the mean of all Y values.
Introduction Buffer is a solution that resists a change in pH when bases or acid are added. Solutions that are acidic contain high concentrations of hydrogen ions (H+) and have pH values less than seven. Buffer usually consist of a weak acid, and its conjugate base or a weak base and its conjugate acid. The function of buffer is to resist the changes in hydrogen ion concentration as a result of internal and environmental factor. This buffer experiment is important so that we relies the important of buffer in our life.
