1. “Pump Up the Volume” is an article published a journal written by The University of South Carolina. This analyses the difference among all of the senses, thus giving an idea on the impact of all of the sense rather than just hearing. This inclusion of all the sense provides a stable understanding to write about all of the sense and how they match up with each other. The writing style is simple and easy to understand. For example, when explaining the senses and each of their effect on history an easy-going is used as well as a minimal amount of complex vocabulary. Due to this articles ability to support my claim by giving context on all of the sense and the ability to understand what the article says, I would use this in an essay.

2. I would use the source titled “RadioHeads”. This source shows a positive spin on music impacting society. The article examples how facility and staff from one particular university has a radio show. This radio show has a positive impact on society. For example, “everyone is as friendly as can be and is devoted to the station”(Endowed). This can demonstrate a first-hand experience on the positive impact of music.

I would use the campaign ad article to prove that music has a positive effect on society. In the article it explains how music works to set a tone and persuade an audience one way of another. In this particular example, the music set a tone for a negative campaign ad aim toward either Mitt Romney or Barrack Obama. This example, would be great to use because its use of actual examples and their impact on society. For example, in my actual essay I could explain that the music in the Obama connected to audience because it sparked a sense of irony. Although the music was serious, a funny message was portrayed.
