Describe topic - this assignment is based on the appeal humans have for purebred dogs. For decades, purebred dogs have always had a more positive attention compared to mixed breeds and this assignment will be looking into the myths and facts behind the appeal. It will also be looking at the repercussion mixed breeds face because of this. One of the key points will be comparing the health and behavior and other aspects of both types and seeing which is better in these different aspects and does this confirm or deny the appeal of purebreds. Because people prefer purebreds, they often overlook mixed breeds, and as a result mixed breeds have a far higher chance of ending up in shelters, being put down, or ending up on the streets. It is important that mixed breeds have and equal chance of being taken into caring homes. This research is also important because it can save an incalculable amount of mixed breed dogs. It is also important to stop the belief that purebreds are better. Thesis - This essay will claim that the appeal behind purebred dogs is mostly false.
