My program of study is Business Administration with a Concentration in Human Resource Management. I am currently in the program at California State University East Bay (CSUEB) located in Hayward, and soon to graduate. The idea behind a management degree is gaining the tools to be managers of an organization right out of school. Some of these classes are accounting, statistics, economics, and business law. It usually takes people one to two years depending on your prior education. Once you are accepted into the business program, it’s required to take general business courses. You will receive exposure into different areas of business such as marketing, finance, operational management, and etc. Do not wait to long to figure out what area interest you, because classes towards a particular concentration are harder to get a seat in than more general class.
