always had an interest in Computing since I started my BTEC IT course at GCSE and I would like to continue the knowledge that I have developed and want to expand my knowledge in this subject area further and read a Computing degree. I have a passion in computing as my interest in computers has grown and whenever new technology comes out I am interested in how it can help everyone in today's world and some point in the future. This cannot be denied that to be successful at Computing a thorough background knowledge is necessary and that is what I anticipate to gain by studying an IT/Computing degree. I also made a food ordering system using the programme Microsoft Visual Studio which is for a restaurant to take orders for the customers that visit the restaurant and in real life it would be a touch screen pad and the waiter can use that food ordering systems to select the items and quality. I enjoyed doing this particular task as I learned that you can make these types of programmes using Visual Studio and also like creating the food ordering system. Furthermore I learned how to use Adobe Photoshop and I created an advertising leaflet and I use all the advanced features found in Adobe Photoshop and created a leaflet. To add to this the tools which I learned how to use in Photoshop were making 3D images, Masking, Colour Balance and depth, layering and how to add watermark. I applied these tools which I learnt and used them to create my leaflet which I made with Photoshop. I created a platform game on a programme called Game Maker and I used different types coding to create my game and make all the objects in the game move and do different things. I also have a great organisational skill as I presented all the work I completed in a presentable order. I also made sure that there no spelling or grammar mistakes. I have good practical skills as I am able to perform tasks such as when I was in Year 12 I learned how to assemble parts of a computer together in addition to this I enjoyed in doing this task as I was able to perform this task successfully. The hobbies and interest that I have is I often go on News websites which are related to technology and these websites helps me to increase my knowledge in technology as I want to keep up with the latest technology that is happening and I also like to read online articles relating to computing to see what new ideas companies have developed. A new technology which I found out recently is that a Smart Watch which you can ask it questions and it will reply back to you with an answer such finding a point of interest. As it uses Bluetooth technology you can connect it to your smartphone and keep it in your pocket and the watch gets the data from it. The skills which I would develop by looking at these technology websites is that I would keep up with the latest technology news that is happening at the present time and
