The two tales “Romeo and Juliet” and “Pyramus and Thisbe” are very similar and different. Both stories have different backgrounds, but most details have similar thoughts and layouts. The tales have tragedy’s, romance, and conflicts. Bothe stories talk about young love which means both tales are willing to be with each other no matter what consequences there are. A couple similarities are they both talk about love, secret of seeing each other, they both are tired of loving in disguise. Also, there families had much hate towards each other, and Juliet and Thisbe killed them self with a dagger only difference Juliet stabbed her heart and Thisbe leaned into the dagger. Shakespeare’s idea for Romeo and Juliet were based off “Pyramus and Thisbe”.
