Qantas Airlines Qantas is popularly known as the largest domestic and international airline in Australia (Qantas n.d.). Aside from being the largest, Qantas is also the leading long distance airline across the globe. In line with this, this paper will briefly describe the chosen organization. Thus, it is important to know theories as to best understand the same. In the theory of dynamic capabilities, there are three clusters which involve an organization's activities and adjustments: 1) an opportunity is identified and assessed; 2) resources are mobilized so that opportunities are addressed and the value of the same is captured; and 3) there is a continuous transformation or renewal of the organization's goals (Teece 2011). Through this, a business enterprise is able to develop and maintain its asset alignment capabilities. This way, collaboration is achieved, and a joint solution to a particular problem is made (Teece 2013). Further, any business organizations should be able to explain why other businesses are able to stay domestic (Teece 2013). This way, it is able to explain what drives foreign investment and the role of subsidiaries in the success of the business itself. Because of the changing environment, as well as the rapid business trends, it is important that a company is able to perform well and meet new challenges. Without which, a company is not able to integrate, build and configure its internal and external competencies. This way, an organization, or Qantas in particular, is able to focus more on how it remains to be competitive in the market and at the same time, provide its customers with services that would ensure the latter's
