There is research that supports that impact of business intelligence that contributes to the development of the current internet based technology (Jeremić, 2014, p. 213). The ability for a business to utilize the internet allows shareholders to benefit from the information gathered with creating transparency for the business collecting information (p. 213). The ease of access of information allows business and consumers to validate data with relatively simple means by the use of business intelligence (p. 213).
