Since the 1960s, the racial and political climate in the United States has changed dramatically but in order to make a claim as to whether or not race relations in the U.S. have improved, declined or as I argue are in a state of stalemate, racism first has to be properly defined along with the colorblind and post-racial ideologies in which race and racism are currently contextualized in.
